On Tuesday, 12 June 2018, CELL was invited by the Rotary Club Maastricht to give a talk on its mission to reduce divisive stereotypes in textbooks. CELL Working Group member Frank Ubachs introduced the CELL team. Our Executive Director, Atif Rizvi, and Principal, Ayla Bonfiglio, presented CELL's research and policy engagement activities and new projects in development, as well as discussed with Rotary members examples of divisive stereotypes and discriminatory content in textbooks and other learning materials. The event was held at the Groote Sociëteit in Maastricht.
