From 2 - 7 December, CELL Principal and Co-founder Ayla Bonfiglio took part in the Salzburg Global Seminar on Social and Emotional Learning (SEL): A Global Synthesis.
Topics under discussion included the demand for SEL in today's diverse educational landscape; how to integrate SEL into classrooms, schools, and whole education systems; and innovative SEL interventions. On this last topic, CELL was invited to present its work.
Evidence shows that SEL can help young people acquire the skills to thrive in future job markets and shape new career pathways. SEL skills can also help communities impacted by conflict and crisis, as well as those working to advance the Sustainable Development Goals.
